Katy Perry thinks that there’s no need for the female singers to get naked to be noticed. She isn’t naming names, but it’s obvious she is referring to Rihanna and Miley Cyrus.
Perry says, “I’m not talking about anyone in particular. I’m talking about all of them. I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked. It’s like, ‘Put it away. We know you’ve got it. I got it, too’. I’ve taken it out here and there. And I’m not necessarily judging. I’m just saying sometimes it’s nice to play that card, but also it’s nice to play other cards. And I know I have that sexy card in my deck, but I don’t always have to use that card.”
Oh, God, how much I agree with her! The present singers used too much sex in their videos and are almost naked. Katy is right, we all have things to show, but we do not do that. If you are a talented singer, you can be famous without showing your skin to others. Showing style, charm, and being hot is different than simply ‘prostituting’ your music. There are many more ways to attract attention of the people. Do something extraordinary that has a taste and you will be noticed!!! Nudity applies to low instincts and it has nothing to do with music actually!
Being a man, who likes observing sexy women on screen, nevertheless, I agree with Katy. What Miley Cyrus and stars like her show on screen leaves no space for imagination. This is the way men are not kept intrigued and definitely don’t want to own what everyone can see. That is why, young female singers, know the limits! Everything is good in moderation!
