Jennifer Lawrence might join Chris Martin on tour
After months of speculation that she is dating Tom Cruise, Laura Prepon has finally addressed the rumors and denied that the two of them are romantically involved.
Previous reports have suggested that Laura and Tom have been secretly dating for some time, but, in an interview with SheKnows.com, the actress shot down the rumors.
She said: “The thing that sucks is that there’s so much false data because people are in mystery as to what Scientology is, so they just kind of make up stuff. It’s kind of unfortunate because then I have to be like, ‘No, that’s actually not what’s happening.'”
“It’s just so funny that, when people don’t know, they just make stuff up, like, apparently I’m dating Tom Cruise right now. And apparently he doesn’t want me doing the show because I portray a lesbian and I’m a Scientologist. This is false; where are they even getting this stuff? It’s unbelievable to me,” she added.
Laura also made it clear that she is a supporter of the LGBT community, despite the common misconception about Scientologists.
She said: “You know, in terms of portraying a lesbian on the show, I am a huge supporter of the LGBT community. I’m going to the GLAAD Awards in a few weeks. I went to the human rights campaign. I’m a total supporter of the LGBT and they are an amazing fan base.”
Cruise couldn’t go wrong with Prepon. She respects Dr. Hubtard, Xenu the evil galactic overlord, and Tom’s even tinier best friend, Mr. Miscabitch. Someone that theta-filled is going to be hard to find in an Earth-girl. They are both “big beings” at the oh-so-holy Scientology Celebrity Centre. What could go wrong?
