After Cory Monteith’s tragic death, Lea Michele is in love again and, judging by the latest photos of her and Matthew Paetz, she is happier than ever.

The new couple was spotted strolling through a Los Angeles park few days ago.

“It’s a new relationship,” a source tells People. “For a long time, Lea wasn’t close to even thinking about getting into a relationship. Cory’s death was and will continue to be a struggle for her. She’s doing much better now. She’s happy and she’s enjoying her life.”

However, Lea and Matthew are taking it slowly and are currently in an open relationship.

Another source told ABC News: ”They’re dating! Nothing too serious but they’re really happy. They have a very honest and open type of relationship. They share everything and support each other in any way possible.”

Michele went through a rough time following Monteith’s death and Matthew is doing everything he can to support her.

”There have been no surprises for Lea at all in this relationship. They make each other really happy. He’s very calm but also very protective and he’s very doting of her. They’re a great team,” the insider added.
