Lea Michele: Family helped me deal with pain

Lea+Michele+Dolce+Gabbana+LPWWERC+1 Glee star Lea Michele suffered a terible loss when her boyfriend Cory Monteith died in July, but thanks to her family and music she feels much better now.

Lea was devastated when Cory was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, this summer but people close to her have helped her move on.

”My family has experienced a lot of loss in their life and they’ve been so wonderful in being there for me and giving me the strength I need,” Lea told People.com at the L’Oreal Women of Worth event in New York City.

”It is more than just a song to me. It completely helped to lift me up at a time where I needed it. Music can really help you in times of need, and that’s what this song did for me and I hope that’s what it does for others as well. I brought my dad to the studio and he cried the entire time. But for me it’s been very empowering. I’ve used this song as a rock,” Lea added.

Lea Michele is a very beautiful, talented and definitely lucky girl to have such a supportive family and friends to help her cope with her loss. It is terrible to lose someone you truly love and have a life-time plan with at the very initial stage when you are young and hopeful, but this is life. I am happy Lea goes on with her musical career and feels much better now.
