When he first fund out his wife would give birth to a baby girl, Mark Wahlberg was a bit nervous, but today he is happy he has daughters and says that they have helped him understand women better.

Speaking to Britain’s GQ magazine, the actor said: ”When I first found out we were having a girl first, it was like a little kick in the stomach. My mother was like, ‘That’s what you get!’

”But it’s really been the greatest thing ever, because I have a wonderful relationship with [my daughter] that’s helped in my relationships with women in general.”

Hmm, i think i would certainly kick Mark’s ass if he would even try to mention to me that he is not happy with the fact that he is having a girl, i mean there is no such situation in life when i would consider it to be a nice thing! I am the person who believes that a child is the greatest gift from God, so the gender doesn’t really matter as long as this child is a happy and healthy one! I am a mother of two children as well, and i can say that for me it was very important my husband’s reaction on the fact that he will be a father, i guess i would punch him if he would only think about telling me he is not happy with the gender of our baby girls!

Well, not everyone in the world has boys, i mean not every man in the world, but nevertheless it is a well known fact that father’s usually love their daughters much more than their sons, maybe it is due to the fact that they feel the need to protect them all the time, while boys can stand up for theirselves, or maybe it is because in their daugters they see the reflection of their beloved woman? I noticed that there is a huge difference in behavior towards the daughter from a beloved woman, and behavior towards the daughter of the woman whom the man hooked up once and it was a mistake that lead them to a not wanted pregnancy.

I am sure Mark has learnt a lot from his girls, because every smart person is in the continuous process of learning during the entire life, so eventually it is important to be able to learn something even from our own children. For example i learn the strength of spirit from my baby girl, no matter how many difficulties or mean kids around she always faces it with the same poker face! Awe my brave little girl, what good thing have i ever done in this world in order to deserve such happiness as having my little princess. I thank God every day for her and for my husband, so if Mark is at least half happy as i am in my marriage, than i am super happy for him, he is a good guy, so he deserves that!
