Speaking on TV show ‘Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013’, Miley Cyrus talked about her broken engagement with Liam Hemsworth and her widely criticized behavior.
The interview reveals that Miley found her relationship with Liam was too much, but she was too afraid to let it go.
“I don’t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn’t change being engaged. I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year,” the singer said.
“I don’t ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can’t be yourself,” she added.
Miley, whose behavior has shocked the world several times, said that she will be criticized no matter what she does. She explained: “I don’t always want to be naked. No matter what I do, I’m either boring or I’m a slut.”
The singer has revealed she is much happier with her life now. “I really feel like very day I’m figuring out who I am. Especially now that I feel like I found more of my independence. I don’t think I was ever really happy with who I was,” she said.
I am happy to hear that Miley have become older and wiser and is no longer depending on someone else’s opinion.iam happy she is comfortable of being single and just being herself this is a very great step in someone’s career and life in general. Still, it doesn’t mean she needs to emerge form one extreme to another being a slut on screen never do. Showing too much skin is too intimate. But well, what age we live in?! I believe it is the time of decay or moral values and it is so sad!
