After writing a letter to American Horror Story’s creator, Ryan Murphy, Neil Patrick Harris may get his wish answered to appear on the show.
Speaking to EW Radio’s Mario Correa, Neil recently admitted: “I wrote a letter to Ryan asking if I could be in it. Even though I wasn’t even available to be in it. And he didn’t respond.”
However, Murphy took to Twitter and wrote: ”@ActuallyNPH of course you can be on Freak Show! I have a role I think you’d love.”
American Horror Story: Freak Show is the fourth series of the FX network show and premiers this fall.
Meanwhile, Neil has finished shooting movie adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel, Gone Girl, and is very excited about it.
In an interview with HuffPost Live’s Ricky Camilleri, the actor has revealed that director David Fincher gave him a late-night screening of a rough cut of the film.
“I really, really loved it,” Harris said. “I loved the book, and I thought since [Flynn] did the screenplay as well, it’s in most ways true to the book — mostly in its kind of unsettling nature. You leave feeling just kind of rocked by what ‘relationship’ can mean.”
