This young beauty first graced our television screens in 2004 in the popular MTV series The Real World San Diego. Her break into the movie business wasn’t until 2009 in the thriller Sorority Row, but Jamie was soon working with big stars such as Adam Sandler in Grown Ups only one year later. After small roles in big movies like I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Hangover Part II, and Sucker Punch, Jamie landed her first starring role in the well-received independent film Eden, in which she plays a survivor of human trafficking.

After playing professional closet organizer to Hollywood players like Cindy Crawford and Paris Hilston, the Armenian beauty enlisted her entire family to star with her in a reality television show. Since the premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim and her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, have launched a number of boutiques, a Sears clothing line, beauty products, nail polishes, perfumes, and more.

American Idol’s fourth-season champion became America’s sweetheart, and with her debut album, Some Hearts, has the fastest
selling debut country album to date. She has racked up numerous Grammys, Billboards, and American Music Awards—she’s even been nominated for a Golden Globe! Carrie appeared on How I Met Your Mother in March 2010. This was the second highest rated episode for season five, gaining 10.48 million viewers. She had her film debut in 2011 with a role in Soul Surfer.

She also won a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, an NAACP Image Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Jennifer is now a successful recording artist whose third studio album is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2014.

Kelly rose to fame in 2002 after winning the first season of American Idol. She has five multi-platinum albums under her belt, including the single “Stronger”—her best-selling single to date. Not only does she have two Grammys to her name, but she was also awarded a Women’s World Award for inspiring young women in her field. With more than 23 million albums sold worldwide, Kelly is considered the most successful Idol contestant. In a career spanning over a decade, Clarkson has accumulated ninety-one number ones on the Billboard charts and eleven international number one singles. Apart from her work in music, Kelly has also ventured into television and film.

    There is nothing “real” in reality TV and these “stars,” merely by virtue of their need to expose themselves (metaphorically speaking mostly) are given opportunities ill deserved. This young lady seems to have a personality at least, but I doubt that she’s any more than a walk on which almost anybody could do.
