After weeks of speculation they are dating, Sean Penn and Charlize Theron made their first public appearance at Penn’s Help Haiti Home Gala in Beverly Hills earlier this month.
Writing his column for Event magazine, Piers Morgan has revealed some details from his conversation with the actor.
”At 2am, Sean came over, and bear-hugged me,” Morgan writes. ”’Congrats on a great night,’ I said. ‘And congrats on Charlize too.’ He laughed. ‘She’s a keeper, that’s for sure… well, I’ll do my best to keep her anyway!’ ”
At the same event, Charlize also praised Sean as a ”great guy”.
Pierce continues: ‘I’m so glad you two have got together,’ I said, ‘Sean’s a great guy.’ ‘I know,’ she smiled, putting her hand round his shoulder.”
Speaking at the gala, Penn said that Theron had convinced him to get rid of his guns. He didn’t mention her name but referred to her as ”a strong woman who happens to be from South Africa”.
He said: ”Being provoked by this aforementioned strong woman and considering how liberating of bulls**t and ugliness it would be not only get rid of the guns I have in the continental United States but also to destroy them.”
It would be nice if the romance of such too amazing actors will last. To my mind they look just great together. I hope that inside they are also very compatible! I wish tem the same happy remarks about each other in a long run.
Hmm, I am wondering what is so special about Sean Penn, that the most beautiful women of the world are turning their attention upon him. First it was Madonna; they were together for quite long period of time, and after that Charlize Theron? How is it possible? Charlize is so successful and beautiful how come she is with him? She certainly deserves someone better than Sean Penn. But who am I to decide for her, I guess she knows better what she wants from this life, though I am still a bit shocked that she have chosen him to be her man. I guess she went through many after getting split with the love of her life Stuart Townsend, I never thought those two would get separate, but I guess that is life, and not everything happens the way we want it to be.
I guess Charlize Theron and Sean Penn is just a perfect couple. She is a very beautiful and feminine lady, while he is strong and reliable and will do everything for his woman. I am really glad for them, and for the fact that they have found each other. I know Charlize has a baby Jackson, whom she adopted, she done a really good thing by becoming his mother, but it is important not to forget that baby is not a fish in the fish tank, or bird in the cage. Having a baby means total care and responsibility, as well as babies needs equally both parents: mother and father, especially a boy. And the fact that knowing Charlize adopted a baby and still trying to create a relationship for her means that Sean Penn is ready to take the role of a dad for Jackson.
Good job Charlize, Sean Penn is a really good and worthy to be with man. He is completely different and like Stuart whom she was with for a long period of time at all. And although Charlize is so fragile, she is at the same time a very strong woman who is struggling a lot in order to have what she has, so it is about time for her to relax a bit, and allow her man doing the things that men are supposed to do, and what for a too long period of time was carried on her shoulders. I hope their relationship will evolve into something bigger and will result in the creation of a new and everlasting family. I am sure that they would have some very beautiful kids together, I just hope it is not one of those short lasting Hollywood relationships.
