We all know that Django is a big success. Loved by the audience all over the world, the movie got two Oscars. We also know that Will Smith was Tarantino’s original choice for the part but he had to turn it down due to scheduling conflict, as the actor said last year. Today, we have the real story, coming from Smith himself. “Django wasn’t the lead, so it was like, I need to be the lead. The other character was the lead!” the actor explains. “I was like, ‘No, Quentin, please, I need to kill the bad guy!’” says Will.
