Actor Tom Hanks has revealed he suffers from Diabetes. The actor shared the news in an interview with chat show host David Letterman.

Tom admitted he has been experiencing symptoms for 20 years but only recently received the diagnosis from his doctor. He said: “I went to the doctors and they said, ‘You know those high blood sugar numbers you’ve been living with since you were 36, well you’ve graduated, you’ve got Type 2 Diabetes young man.'”

However his doctor has suggested he gets back down to his high school weight, but Hanks told him, “Well, I’m going to have Type 2 Diabetes then.”
