While watching this movie i had a strong impression that the creators of this movie were not certain what genre they are filming, that is why they got something in the middle between close to action and too much of a melodrama. This is how Kevin Costner got on the crossroads where on one side he has a teenage daughter with who he needs to get a better relationship, and from the other side a cool girl Amber Heard in a tight dress and with a gun in her hands! I would call it a dilemma.
I would not recommend this movie, although i do not regret the time that i spent on it. Yeah this movie is definitely not leaving you under a deep impression after watching it, as well as it doesn’t make you worry, wonder or be happy for the main heroes. But it was ok to watch it without getting too much into details. I guess Kevin Costner has simply lost his unique way of performing, maybe it is the time for him to retire, or think about another carrier, not the one in front of camera, but the one in which he will be the main person behind the camera.

The subject line is definitely doubting, as in a variety of other action movies. The sudden unexpected disease, the saving cure, the help of a stranger and a villain who was not acting mean at all.
And Kevin Costner if being very honest he is a bit old and heavy for a savior hero. At this age he is supposed to perform the role of good fathers in romantic comedies. I think there are too many things mixed in it, and it is not a good thing of course. Here is the ex agent of special forces, and races like in the movie “Transporter” and black humor like in the “Malavita” comedy. I think that is overreacting and it is bad that people are forgetting about being original, and simply follow steps of the scenarios by Luc Besson. I think there is lack of action and talking, i guess it is too much drama and family values, as well as teen silliness.
Hmm, i think that this movie would be good only for people who love Kevin Costner, otherwise all the other people would consider it as too much to handle in one movie.

I was happy to see Kevin Costner in the main role, in a new bright and not regular type of movie for him. The movie producer and scenario writer were able to link humor with family drama and life’s priorities, and of course the action in a very harmonic cocktail! The choice of actors and heroes is simply amazing ( i remember everyone very well even the huge bodyguards). There is no too much drama in it, i hate the soap opera that makes you cry and sit surrounded with a bunch of napkins. And at the same time i cannot say that this movie is too cruel. My personal opinion is that it is just perfect for each kind of genre. I am sure everyone will enjoy it at the maximum possible level! At the same time it is a pleasant movie, so it will be interesting to your mom, girlfriend and even to your dad who usually is falling asleep by the time the titles at the begin of movie finish :)! A fun and kinetic adrenaline-rush that will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way to the end. A total heart-pounding thrill-ride that is also a complete joy-ride. The movie does a great job blending the action with drama and humor involving its characters and develops nicely over the course of the movie. Kevin Costner’s performance is excellent! You totally buy him as an action hero! Steinfeld and Costner have a great and believable chemistry that adds the right amount of flavor to the entire film.
