30 Minutes or Less is a comedy spiced with action scenes and criminal activities. Michael Deliberti wrote the story with help of Matthew Sullivan and based on that story, he wrote the screenplay. Ruben Fleischer found the potential in this story and directed movie by it. This action comedy is filmed in cooperation of crews from Germany, Canada and USA. Estimated budget is around twenty five million dollars. With this amount of money Ruben got chance to film decent comedy with some quality action scenes. Without huge expenses for famous actors, good amount of money got spent on filming locations and effects. Story is unreal and it is great base for comedy that doesn’t require focus from the audience. Dwayne (Danny McBride) is not so bright guy, who cleans pools with Travis (Nick Swardson). Willing to make millions these two dummies come up with “great” plan. They want to hire a hitman to put down Dwayne’s father who possesses money from lottery win years ago. For hitman’s services they need hundred thousand dollars. Dwayne and Travis are short only 100000 bucks. To get this amount of money they have second “great” plan. They kidnapped pizza delivery guy Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) and strapped bomb vest with timer. Nick has ten hours to rob a bank and to deliver money to his kidnappers who are dressed in gorilla suits. Left with no choice Nick seeks help from his close friend Chet (Aziz Ansari). Chet and Nick have many hilarious accidents and equally entertaining dialogues. 30 Minutes or Less is movie that can cheer you up after long working day.
