Meet Henry Roth (Adam Sandler). He is a nice pretty ordinary guy. Except he is more than terrified of making a commitment to any girl he dates. So when the things become serious and it seems like there is really no way of avoiding the next step, he manages to get out of it all by making up that he is married, gay, special agent or something like that. And the girls believe him. So, it is the perfect time for him, as for the girls. That is, until he meets Lucy (Drew Barrymore). Two of them meet by a coincidence in a restaurant over breakfast. As they spend the day together and he starts thinking that he had found a girl of his dreams, because she is funny, smart, cute and has a great sense of humour. But, that is all amazing until the next day, when she wakes up next to him and starts screaming. As he tries to figure out what is going on, he gets an explanation- Lucy had had a terrible accident a year ago and has a short term memory loss. So, it means that she will always forget him. But, as she has captivated his heart, Henry is more than determined to help her get her memory back. So, during that time, he does pretty amazing stuff, gets to meet her more than once, and every time is different. The best part is, that it's all her.
