From one of the most talented writers Scott Silver comes an amazing piece that is inspired by the "Saturday Night Fever"- 8 Miles. It was directed by Curtis Hanson and one of the main characters is starred by the most famous rap star of the 20th century Eminem. At the very beginning of the movie the audience gets to meet Jimmy 'B-Rabbit' Smith (Eminem), who is living in Detroit and he is a single dad. He lives with his little girl in a trailer and doesn't exactly has a steady job. He dreams big and his dreams take him away from the poverty he's in. He dreams of becoming a world famous rap star, so he could provide everything for his little baby girl. As he finds himself in struggling situations from day to day, he constantly searches for a way to break through. At one point he meets a young and attractive girl called Alex, a hot model who is on her way to New York. At the same time one of his friends promises that he will help him record a demo tape, but that is only the preparation for what is yet about to come. It turns out that Alex isn't a faithful girl and that friend of his sells the demo to his rivals. Another setback in his life and he has to find a way to deal with it, just like before and make the future for him and his baby girl.
