A Most Wanted Man is a movie based on a novel by John le Carre. It is a story about a half-Chechen, half-Russian man turning up brutally tortured in Hamburg's Islamic community. He lays a claim to his father's fortune but soon enough he has a lot more trouble breathing down his neck. German as well as the US security agencies take interest in this man and try to establish his true identity while the clock ticks down. This movie is a tale of love, rivalry, intrigue and politics, it is a tense ride, one which the audience won't forget any time soon. The audience will easily recognize the phenomenal William Dafoe who does an amazing job in portraying his character. The rest of the cast might seem unfamiliar, but their acting is as good as William's is. This flick is definitely made for those who are interested in the war on terror and how it influences the people drawn into it. It is also a movie which connoisseurs of intrigue will greatly appreciate, nothing remains untold and everything falls into its place by the time the movie is over. A Most Wanted Man is an amazing film which will definitely leave plenty of people re-think their stance on some important aspects of our lives and it will surely be the topic of talks even after a few days have passed after the initial viewing.
