What is the movie A Thousand Cuts about?
When a successful director from the world of Hollywood makes a party, that has to be glamorous and over the top. The same is with Lance (Michael A. Newcomer), who is pretty famous and successful in the world of film making. And besides having fun and partying, there are also various celebrities, making arrangements and deals for the next movies, commercials and everything else. And everyone of those people is on the guest list... almost everyone. When security stops a man from getting in, he finds the way to get inside without being spotted. At one point, the lights go out and there is mass panic, because the security suspects there is someone in the house. Lance discovers that the man, who was trying and who managed to sneak in is pretty creepy stalker type called Frank (Michael O'Keefe). In order to find out what his goal is, Lance ties Frank to the chair and they start a conversation. It turns out that Frank's daughter was somehow involved with Lance and ended up dead. So, the only thing he wants is eye-for-eye. And it's payback time. This captivating and tense thriller was written by Robin U. Russin and three more people, amongst which was the director himself, Charles Evered . They made a unique thrilling sensation in form of the movie that is able to keep anyone on the edge of the seat.
