Meet Conor Sullivan (Kellan Lutz). He's another school boy who has just came to high school. He is good looking, has nice smile, confidence and he knows it, so he is cocky all the time. When he shows how good he is at Lacrosse, he takes the spot of one dude from his team and he doesn't even care. So, he gets the attention of a great looking girl from school, Brooklyn Milligan (Ashley Greene). After couple of days, he find out that his dad, who is a marine, is being deployed to Iraq. And even sooner comes an information that he had died in a fight. Shocked and emotionally unstable, Conor starts being aggressive and violent towards everything and everyone, both at school and out of her. After he causes lots of trouble and ends up in prison, he gets sent to The Six Nations Work Camp as part of rehabilitation. While trying to build a house there, Conor learns how important rules of Lacrosse actually are. That's not just a game, but it's for life. If you don't have team play, strategy and a bit of violence, you're not going to make it. The story of Conor is narrated from third person. The narrator is his girlfriend, Brooklyn, and through her gentle voice, we get to find out just how tough growing up was for him. As she said: "It's hard to tell if warriors were born or made by circumstances." When facing hard time in life, some people actually grow stronger.
