Ridley Scott is an expert for directing Sci-Fi and horror movies and Alien: The Director's Cut is a combination of the two. He tells a story of the commercial vessel after receiving a call from the planet that hasn't been explored yet. They are searching for survivors, but after not succeeding in their goals, they realize that they have a guest. That is when the real “fun” starts. If you are the viewer, you are going to have a fun, but if you were on the vessel, that wouldn't have been the case.
Even though this is an older movie, released in 1979, the story is more than great and it is very fun to watch it.
There are seven members in the crew and they are all thinking the same – they just want to return home safely and without fighting, but it turns out that it is not going to be an easy task for them. One of the members of the crew has gone too close to the egg of the alien and he got attacked...
After bringing him back on board, the spaceship takes off and continues on his path. Everything came back to normal after the parasite died, but that was only what they thought...
You have to love the performance of Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm in the Alien: The Director's Cut movie.
