I can say that usually i am against filming classical stories, as movie producers are showing them from their own point of view which usually doesn't correspond to mine view, but i can say for sure that this movie really deserves being seen, as it is interesting and worthy! For me it was very unexpected the mixture of theater play and movie itself, the drowning in snow train, all those things are the pluses of the movie according to my point of view. I recommend it to everyone! I can easily say that while watching the movie i realized that i got a completely different thing from the one that i have expected! The acting staff was amazing, they have shown a high class performance to everyone. The tragical music during the movie was also adding some spice to it. I cannot say that it is one of my favorite movies, but i certainly liked it.

My husband has refused going to cinema in order to see this movie with the words: " i am sure they will not be able to film this movie in a decent way"! So i went to see this movie with. G friend, but my husband's words kept staying in my brain, that is why i was ready to criticize the movie. Well what can i say, it is a decent movie, i was crying pretty intense by the end of it! So now what did i like about the movie? Mmm first of all i think the fact that i believed all of them! Karenin was simply amazing, though i don't really like Jude Law! Vronsky at the beginning surprised me, as i thought he is too young, but by the end of the movie i realized how good he actually was, even though he is not that high class as Jude or Keira. Actually he looked exactly the way i was imagining Vronsky in my thoughts. His eyes were breathtaking. Keira was also amazing, though as usually she is! I have no words to describe how good was the movie! I give it a firm ten!

Auch, i have written such a good review, and by accident has deleted it, really hate myself for that, but there is nothing i can do in order to change the situation. But anyways i am writing it again! Well i will start saying that i liked this movie, the scenes, as well as the main characters were very beautiful, and they touched my heart! Right now in a way or another i am "sick" with Anna Karenina, i am finishing reading the novel, and decided to see all the possible movie versions of it! Now i can easily say that watching this movie without reading the novel is pointless, as after almost reading the book and watching the movie again i can say that my impression about it has totally changed! Now i can say that i really get the meaning of it, the way it really is! Joe Wright, has tried placing all the main moments of the novel into the movie, but still he has done it in a very light way. Honestly speaking i was very disappointed not to see the scene of Vronsky suicide in the movie, as i believe it is one of the main ones in the novel. This is not a simple movie, as it reveals how fake people can be towards each other.

The story is a very interesting purse to character’s own enigmatic happiness. The theme is very popular at all the times. Anna Karenina is a mature serious woman, who goes a little crazy by encountering the man of her dreams. This is the story of love, full of passion, drama and mystery of one’s soul…

Keira Knightley and Jude Law are exceptional Holywood actors. Wright's offers a unique and beautifully conceived version of thestory, using Tom Stoppard's intelligent adaptation, the film has struck me as perfect for rendering the depth and complexity of the story line. The "artifice" of the setting, design and art direction are brought forth with sensitivity and satisfying wholeness. Highly, highly recommended for adults who want to participate in the construction of a wonderful film and story.
