August: Osage County is originally a play for Broadway written by Tracy Letts, the movie adaptation is spot on. The movie is depressing, exhausting and full of horrible, despicable people but it is definitely worth the ride. Each of the women reacts differently to the tragedy and each one of them is a well made character. Some are hard and tough, the others keep their feelings to themselves and some look as if they are going to break any moment. All of these different characters are what makes this movie so engaging and thrilling. This intense story of anger, pain and betrayal isn't for everyone. It can put on an emotional strain and it will make plenty of people appreciate their family more. This movie is a proper gem and everyone who enjoys a deeply emotional movie should see it. The ride might be bumpy and tiring, but that's what makes it so special, don't miss out on this amazing movie.
