After teaming up with a young Dick Grayson (Chris O'Donnell), Batman gets a partner called Robin. Two of them make a great duo, but they still have to work on some issues they are having. Their point of views are totally different in some of the aspects, but in general, they get along pretty well. This sequel of the Batman movies is more concentrated on the part of his life where he is Batman and there isn't much of Bruce Wayne to see. But, that doesn't mean that other private lives aren't on the screen. We see Dick getting involved in various street races with his bike, Albert, the servant, being ill and not talking about it, and we get a totally new character- Barbara Wilson, Albert's young nephew who comes from London, where she is on a boarding school and has come to visit him. They haven't left the villains out as well. There is Dr. Victor Fries, aka Mr. Freeze, who had an accident and fell into a strange chemical that made him freezing cold. There is also one scientist in this story, and her name is Dr. Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy. She also gets into a lab accident, but turns into a venomous girl who kills with a kiss, because she is filled with venom. When Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze team up with the idea to destroy the city, Batman, Robin and the new addition to their team, Batgirl, are doing everything they can to stop them.
