United Kingdom has very characteristic flavour that is recognizable in every movie made on that island. Bill Gallagher wrote a serious drama about a police officer that made the heaviest crime. Nick Murphy used that story and made a thriller with very intensive emotions that are changing very fast. Attention of the audience is guaranteed because of locations and dynamics of movie. Tall blonde Paul Bettany is acting an extremely passionate investigator Joe Fairburn. Joe is keen to discover murderer of a young girl. This case is shady and strange looking suspect that looks like offender is slipping from Joe's hands constantly. These situations made Joe Fairburn nervous to the breaking point. Investigator decides to try the forbidden methods and make confess. While his brother is watching Joe torturing suspect on the beach, things go out of control. Joe kills the suspect and at this point the struggle form within starts to eat well known police family. Paul Bettany and Brian Cox reveal how looks like when someone has moral collapse and gets eaten from within by the conscience. All this would not be nothing special with out the fact that brothers Fairburn have to investigate their own crime. You have to watch how they are coping with places where victim died. Metamorphosis of characters is huge and it gives chance to this actors to give their best. Blood from 2012 is an hour and half long European thriller worth of watching with friends.
