Movie Brake is a fascination in many ways. Concept where one person in trapped in a coffin or a box is already seen. What Brake offers is a new level of dramatization, excitement and action placed in small box that is fitted in trunk of the car. Stephen Dorff is star of the movie. He acts Secret Service Agent Jeremy Reins. Action starts as a random kidnapping. But right after that, a torturing chamber is introduced with Jeremy inside. He is placed in clear box with couple of electronic features and clock that is ticking. As the clock is counting down tension grows and strong lights make Jeremy to pay close attention. His kidnappers start to communicate with him over a speaker. They turn out to be sophisticated terrorists and they have intentions to kill president of United States of America. Jeremy is a trained agent, who is capable of dealing with interrogation, but he is facing methods unseen so far. Mechanisms that are connected to the box are designed to produce maximal trauma. Entire protocol of torture is cleverly created by professionals. Just in case it is not enough, terrorists took Jeremy’s family as means of persuasion. Movie Brake is capable to keep audience on edges of their seats. Timothy Mannion wrote an excellent story and most of the credit for the excitement and new ideas goes to him. Break is excellent movie that could be watched at any social gathering.
