After she has the situation with her boss that is over the top at the bar, Ali gets her money and leaves the place for good. This small town girl has pretty big dreams and plans to make each one of them true. As she roams around the city, she discovers a night club that is actually a burlesque club. They don't strip, but they sure know how to tease. With no where to go after the apartment she lives in gets robed, she turns to Jack, a friend from the bar and crashes in at his place. As she makes her way in as a waitress, she decides to pursue her dancing and singing dreams further and does an impressive audition for her boss, Tess, who is a former burlesque dancer and the club owner. Of course, the girl she's filling in is raging with jealousy and is trying to set her up in every way, even by shutting her mic down in the middle of the song, But, as Ali knows how to sing that isn't a problem. As she gets famous as a burlesque star, her life gets more and more complicated and she has to deal with it. The main characters are played by Christina Aguilera and Cher. It is an amazing movie for girl's night.
