Camp Tacota is a movie set in Chicago, Illinois, It tells a story of Elise (Grace Helbig) whose personal and professional lives are in shambles. She has to take up a job as a counselor at an old summer camp. In the camp she reunites with two estranged friends who attended the camp and never had left it. The future of the camp is in jeopardy and it's on these three friends to put their strengths together in order to save the camp. They embark upon a journey which will change the course of their lives forever. Camp Tacota is an independent movie made on a tight budget, and it shows, but that doesn't meant that the movie is bad. These actresses are well known on YouTube and it is nice to see how they have matured. Setting of the movie has a cozy feel to it, it can be said that it is pretty heartwarming. People can relate to the characters since they are very believable. Don't expect a deep story, it is pretty shallow and predictive. Camp Tacota suffers from some editing problems which might annoy some people, but it should definitely be given a chance. This is one of those funny feel-good movies which should be viewed on a warm sunny day in a relaxing atmosphere.
