Based on the book of Roald Dahl, comes a movie adaptation done by John August and directed by Tim Burton - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This movie is not the first adaptation. There was one in 1971, where the whole story was made for kids. This one is a bit darker, according to Tim Burton's taste. This version has some creepy and new twists put in, just enough to make it look pretty eccentric but not to much. It starts of with a famous chocolate maker Willy Wonka announcing that he is going to give away 5 golden tickets to 5 kids that can be used to visit his factory. How to determine which 5 kids? Easy- tickets are hidden inside of the chocolate packages. One of the kids that has the luck to win one of the tickets is Charlie Bucket, who got his chocolate from his grandpa's last couple of pennies. As the kids gather, and go through the factory with Willy Wonka, we see them and their true faces. One by one kids get affected by the things in factory and become greedy or selfish. Willy just lets the things go its course. In the end, there is only Charlie left with his grandpa and he is the one to win the factory, which was the biggest surprise ever, not only for Charlie, but for the whole world as well.
