What is the movie Closed for the Season about?
Every genre of movie has its own audience. Some subtypes of movies have narrow audience and they don’t attract many attention. Closed for the Season is one of those movies. This movie is filmed as horror and thriller. Truth is that many people can find it comic and they would probably watch the movie only out of curiosity. But for the fans of trash horror, this is more than good movie. Unconvincing story, cheapest effects, poor camerawork and minimal crew have unique charm when they get mixed together. Few from general audience appreciate independent movies like this. Jay Woelfel wrote and directed this movie. He placed young girl Kristy in centre of the story. Kristy (Aimee Brooks) is in her early twenties and she is determined to get her teddy bear, that she forgot in the abandoned and three decades closed amusement park. Unable to sneak in the park she runs to the house where James lives and asks him for help. Captive with her curves and appearance, James goes with Kristy to search for the doll hoping to have romance with her. When they get inside the amusement park, things start to get interesting. In the park they will deal with sinister clowns and strange creatures. Some scenes are scary and story has its own bright moments. For lovers of independent movies Closed for the Season could be interesting movie.
