If you ever had a doubt if there are supernatural forces, than you better be prepared to get your answer. At the very beginning audience gets to meet a guy who has special skills- John Constantine. He was approached by detective Angela Dodson, whose sister committed a suicide, but she doesn't believe that. She needs him to find her in the other world and confirm that, because according to catholic religion, if she does commit suicide, she doesn't get the proper burial. But, to check just how honest he is about what he is saying that he does, she leaves out that two of them were twins. He does go to Hell and find her there, unfortunately. After that, both Constantine and Angela start investigating why she jumped off of the hospital roof at the first place and they embark on more than they were bargaining for. Constantine finds out that there is a plot made by angel Gabriel and the son of the Devil for him to take over the Earth behind his dad's back. And for that, some preparations must be made. One of them is to get Spear of Life, which is the only thing that can bring Antichrist to life. Throughout the movie we get to see just how Constantine has all those skills and how he's not afraid of Hell and everything in there. Hoping to make wrong right again, and earning his place in Heaven, Constantine makes efforts to improve himself as well as the rest of the world as much as he can.
