Whenever someone mentions Dany Trejo in a movie, you know it's gonna be an amazing one. It all begins with a young boy Emilio Manrique who gets into lots of troubles from young age. His parents try to raise him as best as they can, but sometimes it just isn't enough. At one point he starts boxing and training. Still, he is short tempered and that gets him into a fight and suddenly he gets himself on the wrong side of the law. His only dream is to win the Golden Gloves boxing championship and become famous. But, as he ends up in jail, he must first earn his way back to the real world and then find a way to enter the fighting game. In this whole chaos, Alvaro Orlando, who gets the role of older Emilio, brings an amazing performance and really gets into the character. Famous Danny Trejo plays here a mental health councillor, which is really far from the roles we're used to seeing him. But in spite of that, he does a great job as well. With as low budget as they had to shoot this movie, director and one of the writers Kenneth Castillo and his crew made an outstanding effort and turned this movie into a rising star on the cinema screens.
