Unfortunately, the drug is in clinical trials stage and he is unable to receive it. He embarks upon a trip to Mexico where he finds a doctor who was banned in the USA but he managed to make a cocktail of drugs which are very effective in treating symptoms of HIV, and Ron starts to smuggle those drugs in the USA. Matthew McConaughey does an amazing job in this movie, without him this movie wouldn't be as amazing as it is. Script is engaging and tragic, dialogues are lively and the director did a stunning job.
