According to the critics, here is an amazing 'sad' comedy piece, that is absolutely loving. This 86 minute long comedy drama was both written and directed by Todd Solondz and it will keep you eyes on screen throughout the whole time with no doubt. The plot deals with a guy called Abe, who is a little over 30s and is working in his dads office as an assistant. He gets always pampered by his ever loving mom and has a very successful brother who is a doctor. The only thing he really has passion about is collecting toys. After he meets young Miranda at one wedding, he starts dreaming of her. As usual, he calls her, but it seems like she doesn't remember him that good. Instead of stopping, Abe goes on, like it's the most common thing to do, not realizing just how damaged Miranda actually is. On the other hand, Miranda is going through a tough case of depression and has problems of her own. So, the shocking situations pile one onto another, creating really interesting way that Abe perceives life and things that surround him. Not even Miranda's ex boyfriend, who comes back to town and is seeing Miranda, can ruin the plans Abe has for them.
