When the same person is the director and writer of a piece, it can be either amazing or to really suck. Fortunately, this one belongs to the first group of movies. It was directed and written by Cameron Crowe, who used his creativity and directing skills to bring us this amazing movie called Elizabethtown. The story is pretty unusual, yet has that everyday feel to it. It starts off with getting to know Drew Baylor (Orlando Bloom) and to see how he lives his life. As he managed to bring his company to the loss of the almost million dollars, he was fired. Also, he was dumped by his long time girlfriend in the same day and he saw no more sense in life. So, he decides to commit suicide, but luckily for him, he gets a call in the very moment he was to do something. And to make things worse, it is his sister calling to tell him that his father had died in Elizabethtown. Instantly he takes off and sets out for Elizabethtown to bring his fathers remainings home, since his mother had problems with their relatives. But, on his way to Elizabethtown, Drew meets an unusual girl, a flight attendant Claire Colburn (Kirsten Dunst), who is all nice and cute. As two of them start talking and get closer, they agree on staying in touch. Soon, over the course of the next few days, she manages to change his point of view on the life and changes his attitude for better.
