Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind shows a strange relationship of a couple who needs to erase each other from the memories, which means that they have to start all over again. Watching them act is something that you will not forget for sure. They are simply amazing and if you are used to watching Carrey in comedy movies, this one is going to open your eyes, since he has shown that he is more than good when it comes to acting in every genre. You can all say that i am wrong but i do not really care about it. I just finished watching this movies. I read a variety of reviews about this movie, and thought that it will be a very good movie, but unfortunately i was terribly wrong about it. I love romantic movies with deep sense that makes my soul flying. But this movie was standing far away from my soul, and i am shocked by it. I have never seen a more stupid movie, but wait a minute it is a bit better than “Vanilla Sky” though that is a subject of competition. But it is a very weird movie. Of course it is a good thing that he didn’t want to lose her and that he thought for her, but the way it has been shown, that was the thing i didn’t like at all and i feel like cursing because of it. The good thing is that i am on my way way to going to bed now, and that is the only thing that stops me from saying in a very rude way everything i think about this movie. That is why i will keep my mouth shut, but i hope i have shown pretty clear my attitude towards it.

Mmmm most of all in this movie i loved the phrase “You know i am so happy, that i am ready to die in this moment” for me it is the reflection of the essence of the movies.I wanted to see this movie for a long time but kept delaying it, and after i saw it, i felt sad about the fact i haven’t done it earlier as it changed a lot my perception upon the relationship! At the beginning this movie seems to be a row of memories and pieced of reality but little by little everything clears up. The crazy in a good way Clementine erases her boyfriend from the memory, and the other great thing about the movie is that Jim Carrey has performed a serious dramatic role!! In this movie there is a place that can erase memories. Mmm i wish i could visit such a office! So the upset Joel decides to erase his memories about her as well. And when the process starts he realizes that he doesn’t want to do it anymore, and what will happen next you will see in the movie, for me it is enough to say that it is deep and touching, and it made me cry, though i am not sensitive at all.

After watching this movie i felt myself a bit weird. I was not able to understand if i was happy that everything finished this way, or i felt myself crushed, but i realized that this movie has found its place in my heart till the rest of my life! When i was getting out of the cinema in my head kept singing the song “Dear clementina” .So what was so special about this movie? It is a story of love of two unusual people. He Joel is thoughtful and modest, she Clementina is joyful and crazy. And those two absolutely different people have met and fall for each other. But as it usually happens with all the couples, they got their own problems in the relationship. Clementina in one moment decides to erase Joel from her memory, and everything that has to do with him. And i will not say what happened further. It is better watching this movie it is unusual and impressive. It doesn’t look like any other love stories. And the main heroes: Jim Carey and Kate Winslet were perfect!

It was rather difficult for me watching this bizarre, yet creative romantic sci-fi movie. As always, Jim Carrey's acting is impressive. In this movie he has shown his talent more than that of rubber-faced comedian, who gained his fame in the 90s. The scene in which Carrey becomes his 4 year old self is terrifically creative- acting, writing, and directing. Also, taking into account this and her performance in The Reader, Kate Winslet is as good an actress as there is. The rest of the cast is excellent as well, especially Elijah Wood, surprisingly adept as the unlikeable, manipulative creep. This movie is thought-provoking, I believe primarily for critics and film insiders. I just didn't enjoy it. As painful as life's memories can be, I'm glad I have them. This type of technology would be wrong.
