For me it is very obvious even by the name of the movie that it is not a simple or merry one. I cannot say that there is something out of common in it, the essence is about the boy who is looking for something. But in the words itself or in the movies or thoughts of the hero i can feel the overwhelming pain because he lost his dearest person. The little boy doesn't see any happiness from life, and people who he meets are bringing even more sorrow into his life. It is very difficult for me to understand how is this boy living. He is not the only person who suffers, also suffers his mother, grandmother and the person who rents a room in their house. While watching this movie i kept trying to understand what is the limit of unhappiness, and how much pain can one single person tolerate. I would advise this movie to people who want to think about something deep and important, this movie is the best option in such a case.

This movie lasts for two hours, but i watched it like it lasted only a few minutes. I really liked the performance of the actor,his look and emotions. He has his own vision of the world, that is why it is not a simple story about a regular boy, it is much more. I cannot even say whether i liked the movie or not, as it is impossible to rate it. After watching it i stayed with a very hard feeling on my soul, because feeling the stress of the ten years old boy about his dead father is something that i cannot describe with simple words. People who love the hard and deep movies under which you are supposed to think about life should definitely see it. Death of a close person is always something very difficult, and i am too sentimental in order to watch something like that. I wasted a lot of tears while watching this movie. I cannot call it a masterpiece, but i can certainly say that it is a tragedy. Worries and soul pain of a son towards the father he lost are shown from a different point of view.

The best thing about me is that i never know when and where i can find a good movie. And i am very happy that i was able to find this movie by accident. Drama is not my favorite genre of movies, but this movie really deserves being seen by everyone. It is filmed based on Jonathan Safran love story "extremely loud and incredibly close". I read that the book is much more interesting than the movie, as of course it is simply impossible to place all the interesting moments into the movie, that is why now i also plan on reading the book as well. A ten years old boy loses his dead on 11th September in New York, and he tries to find the information that will help him getting closer to dad. On his way he meets different people and all of them are linked by the terrible catastrophe, and everyone tried to deal with the sorrow on his own.
