The Final Storm is Uwe Boll's latest action horror with lots of thriller elements that will captivate you for hour and a half, as long as it lasts. The story was written by Tim McGregor. It starts with a very bad weather outdoors and a married couple, Tom and Gillian Grady and their son Graham in the house, waiting for it to be over. On the TV there is a lot of riots outside and the chaos is all around. Luckily, three of them live on a remote farm outside of the city. And in the middle of the night, on the worst storm they have ever seen, a stranger knocks on their door. As they open, he faints into their house. From that point on, the story takes a turn and starts developing like a Judgement Day in the Bible. The moon turns red, people start fighting each other with no special reason and so on. But, this biblical story has a new twist to it- it turns slowly into a psycho thriller, with lots of blood and corpses all over the place. According to various critics, Steve Bacic and Lauren Holly, who were in the roles of Tom and Gillian, as well as Luke Perry, who got the role of Silas, the stranger, gave such amazing performances that most of the audience simply adored them.
