When there is a word about legendary movies, one name has to be amongst them- Flashdance. Although this movie may be older, and it doesn't have lots of fancy animations nor special effects, it still has that mind blowing effect.The whole story revolves around a young girl called Alex Owen (Jennifer Beals). Stuck in the man's world during the day, this female welder is a unique case. She can do most of the work by herself. Still, that doesn't bring her enough money so she could live peacefully. At night she works in a night club as one of the exotic dancers. Her main cause for living is when she dances- she loses herself in the music and at least for that moment, she is someone else and is living someone else's life, a better one. Her dream is to get into a prestigious ballet school and get into a dance company, become a famous dancer. As the audition gets announced in one of the ballet schools, Alex is pretty ambiguous about auditioning because of the lack of the ballet education. Still, her boss and her boyfriend Nick Hurley (Michael Nouri) manages to talk her into doing that and supports her as much as he can in order to give her the opportunity to fulfil her dreams.
