Here we have a simple small town story. After five teenagers got killed in a car accident, the city council had decided to ban the dancing as well as the loud music. And after that they seem to get it all under their control. Or so it seems. At one point, a big-city boy Ren MacCormack moves to this town. While trying to settle here, with his uncle and aunt, he gets to meet cute Reverend's daughter, and soon after that discovers that there is a whole world of dancing and parties under the radar. But, as they get busted, and Reverend Shaw Moore tries to forbid his daughter to see Ren, it all escalates quickly into a fight for the right to dance.. and in front of the court and the whole council as well. Kenny Wormald, who plays the role of young Ren, isn't only talented actor, but talented dancer as well and he showed that in the movie. Julianne Hough, who plays Ariel Moore, the Reverend's daughter, is sister of famous Derek Hough, dance coach of every Hollywood star, but with more talent and prettier. This musical comedy drama will shake you up and make you want to dance whole day long. If you liked movies like "Step up" and "Step up 2: The streets", you'll enjoy in watching this remake of 1984 original.
