Everyone knows a romantic story of Romeo and Juliet and their tragic ending as well. Have you considered mixing it up a little bit with garden gnomes and see what will come out? The answer to that is exactly this movie, Gnomeo and Juliet. You might think it's a spell mismatch, but no.. This is about garden gnomes and their love. At the very beginning, we get to see both gardens of Montague and Capulet, where everything seems to be at peace. Grass is green and nicely mowed, garden statues are all there, everything is peaceful and nice looking. That is until the owners go away. Then you'll see the fun begin for their garden gnomes. Blue and red gnomes have been enemies forever and their fights begin the moment they realize their owners aren't at home. And, as in Shakespeare’s novel, here we also have a story of a forbidden love between a young blue gnome Gnomeo and a daughter of red gnome Juliet. Throughout this animated movie you'll see hilarious ways they take to beat their families rage and be together, while watching out not to get caught by the humans either. Rob Sprackling, John R. Smith and lots of others have put their minds into this and wrote an amazing and hilarious adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and it was directed by Kelly Asbury.
