Written by Geoff LaTulippe and directed by Nanette Burstein, this romantic comedy is the perfect choice for the nights when you just want to relax and watch a funny movie. Going the Distance tells the story about lives of two college students, who are in a relationship, but are in colleges that are in two different towns. Erin (Drew Barrymore) is a 31 year old girl, who is just finishing her college and is catching her last train for the internship in New York in a newspaper redaction. With only six more weeks to return home, she stumbles upon and meets a lovely guy Garrett (Justin Long). As they start spending more and more time with each other they realize that they have so much in common and that they share the same quirks. They try to keep it casual at first, but fail. As she is packing up to leave, they both pretend to be ok, but very soon enough they both realize that they miss each other and they spend hours on the phone trying to make it work. The situation on which the plot for the movie is based is so everyday and real life. Also, the connection between character played by Drew Barrymore and Justin Long is so innocent and sweet, it will surely melt you heart.
