Hatchet III continues the horror story of the villain named Victor Crowley. Research and recovery team heads into a haunted swamp to pick up the pieces of violence which happened in the first two movies. Marybeth hunts for the true secret to ending the voodoo curse that has left the ghost of Victor Crowley haunting and terrorizing the swamps for decades. The story has some problems, but since this is a slasher movie, most of the people won't pay much attention to the plot holes or any mistakes in the story. There aren't as many jokes as in the previous Hatchet movies, some might say it is a bad thing while the others will say that it's a good thing. The best thing about Hatchet III is violence, blood and gore. This movie delivers all of the three elements needed for a good horror slasher flick. The movie still manages to be funny, but that doesn't come at the expense of mayhem and terror. Fans of the previous Hatchet movies will definitely have a blast while watching this one. It has everything which made the first two movies awesome, and it over delivers. Those who haven't seen previous Hatchet movies should do it if they are fans of slasher flicks and then come back to this one. All in all, this is an entertaining slasher movie, so, if you are a fan, definitely check it out.
