Coming for the brains of William N. Panzer and Brad Mirman, who were the writers of the whole story, that was later directed into a movie by Andrew Morahan, here is another sequel of the Highlander. This part of the Highlander tells the story about 20 years before the events in the second part- which means the story is placed in 1994. So, the third part can actually be considered as the prequel to the second part of the Highlander. Everything comes to what happened with Connor MacLeod, or better known as Russell Nash (Christopher Lambert) after he defeated the last Immortal and gained his mortality in the first part. Now, he is trying to live his life like every other man. After his wife Heather died back when he was in Scotland, and he was banished from the village, he wandered around the world and the path led him to Japan at one point. There, he met one very powerful sorcerer named Nakano (Mako), who is an Immortal as well. As they became friends, they showed some of their tricks to each other. But, as Nakano's old enemy Kane (Mario Van Peebles) found his cave, came and killed him,that caused him to get trapped in the cave Nakano was living in. Years after that event, during one of the expeditions, they dug him out, which made him alive, and Connor was again not the only one.
