Hollow is a mystery horror movie about an old haunted monastery in Suffolk, England. There are many legends which speak of the monastery, most of them say that the monastery is haunted. Today, the monastery is in ruins and shrouded with a veil of mystery. There are tales of a menacing dark spirits which compels young couples to suicide. The place has been avoided by the people for many years, only a big twisted tree with a menacing hollow stands near the monastery and is said to be a place of great evil. Four friends go on a holiday and decide to explore the local legend and quickly realize that some mysteries are better left undiscovered, or better yet, disturbed. Myth materializes into reality and soon enough the horror comes back to town. Hollow is another found footage horror movie, and those who eat up those kinds of movies will most likely enjoy this one as well. There are plenty of jump scares, so be prepared for them, they are unexpected but most of the times they can be seen coming from a mile away. The movie leaves some questions unanswered, most likely due to the sequel. This movie will do wonders in producing a few chills and any fan of horror movies should check this one out.
