How I Live Now is an action drama with elements of romance directed by Kevin Macdonald, starring Saoirse Ronan, Tom Holland and George MacKay. The movie tells a tale of an American teenager nicknamed Daisy who is sent by her estranged father away from New York to the countryside of England. Daisy is supposed to stay there with her Aunt Penn. Her cousin Isaac welcomes her at the airport and takes her home. She is introduced to her cousins, but Daisy an aloof girl, she is needy of love and believes that she is cursed and that bad things happen to people around her. Her Aunt is studying the war scenario in England which is on alert due to a terrorist alert. Aunt Penn needs to fly to Geneva, but next morning a nuclear bomb explodes in London and the UK declares a state of siege. How I Live Now tells a tale of love during the most horrible war time. This movie is disturbing, horrific and it definitely isn't for people who won't admit the treachery of humans. The movie asks many questions and leaves the viewers pondering on them. If you want to enjoy a movie with an excellent story with good actors, then this movie might be just right for you!
