Hulluna Saraan is a light comedy/romance directed by Samuli Valkama. Ville is the main character of the movie. He has a very interesting father, who used to be a rock star. His rock-n-roll dad has been womanizing for years so they didn’t really get in touch for a very long time. But suddenly Ville’s life is turned upside down when his father moves into his flat. Not only Ville has to endure his dad eccentric behavior but also both of them fall in love with one and the same girl – a beautiful American line-dancing teacher. It’s natural that life of a pop star’s son is never easy. Ville has always been overshadowed by his father’s fame, he bathed in his dad’s glory and when he grew up it became clear that he’s not able to create his own identity. He is troubled with lack of self-esteem, an indecisive young man. His father on the contrary lives a life based on the carpe diem motto. He lives irrespective of what tomorrow brings, he doesn’t take any responsibility of his life. At a certain moment both of their worlds collide – when both of them fall in love with one and the same girl.
