What is the movie I Was a 7th Grade Dragon Slayer about?
When group of teenagers and kids gather for a sleepover parties, there isn't a better way to calm them down, but to play them a movie they will watch and that will keep them entertained for at least the part of the night. One of those movies is exactly Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer. The screenplay was written by Jamie Nash and it was directed by Andrew Lauer. It involves science fiction elements such as trolls, dragons, potions and all sorts of adventures with all those things. The best part is, that the main character is a 12 year old Arthur Lyle (Hunter Allan). His parents are in the process of divorcing and they are fighting over for a custody. Currently, he's at his mom's place. It is easy for any kid that is a teenager or younger to relate to him, because of the age and as they look at the world around themselves. As Arthur starts talking about a dragon and a troll, his mom thinks that he's imagining things and that he's just bored and wants some attention, so she dismisses every one of his stories. Soon enough, she is about to experience what he really talks about. Together with his friends, Arthur starts an adventure that involves beating the dragon, saving the troll and saving the world.
