After the Gods of Olympus have defeated the Titans, eons passed in peace. At one point, there was a new threat. King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke), who was mad with power and declared the war on humanity, had set out to find Epirus Bow, which was made by Ares himself in the heavens. The legend says that the one who has it, can release the Titans again and give them freedom, by getting them out of the deep walls of mountain Tartaros. If this bow comes in possession of Hyperion, the whole human kind could be destroyed and the Gods would face the permanent annihilation. Since, according to the old law, Gods aren't in position to meddle, there is only one hope left for the human kind- Theseus (Henry Cavill). Facing Hyperions army with Phaedra (Freida Pinto), a priest that has an ability of seeing the future, Theseus is up to defend the human race by himself. This action drama with lots of fantastic elements is mesmerizing and speeds up the heart rate in various situations, which is more than enough to keep the audience on glued on their seats for the 110 minutes of its lasting. According to critics, Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and John Hurt did excellent job in portraying their characters and giving them god-like feeling.
