With a troublesome parent and troublesome neighbourhood, one can not grow up to be thinking like a rich person and act like one. Everything that those persons know is fight for everything you need, and that means literally everything. The law of the street is above the law of men and that's why we have so much ghetto raised kids turning to be delinquents. This Robert Towsend drama focuses on Jonathan 'Lil J' McDaniel, who plays the role of young black boy named Xtra Keys. He grew up in the ghetto neighbourhood and is used to doing everything that law doesn't approve of. After getting out of the jail and getting a parole officer, Keys gets another chance to carry on with his life, finish the school and actually be somebody in life. When his parole officer finds out that most of the schools don't want to accept him because of his criminal record, the only option left is an alternative school called The Hive. As it usually starts, the boys in the class are always in the mood for jokes or fight, but never for learning and studying. And Keys is no different than them. But, as the time goes by and these boys start getting on some regulations and boundaries, Keys will be one of the first to try and change. And with the acting crew that has Michael Clarke Duncan, Loretta Devine, Vivica A. Fox and Ali Liebert, it should be interesting for you until you see the ending scene of the movie.
