What is the movie Kill Bill: Vol. 2 about?
“Kill Bill Vol. 2”, the second installment of Quentin Tarantino’s critically acclaimed saga which pays tribute to a variety of classic cinema genres, takes off where the first part ends and follows the blood drenched adventures of “The Bride” (Uma Thurman) and her single minded pursuit of revenge and killing her former lover Bill (Keith Carradine). At first we see The Bride behind the wheel of a car, on her way to kill Bill. We then revisit the scene from the first movie in which Bill shoots her, and then we shift further back into the past to see Bill coming to The Bride’s wedding rehearsal and ordering his assassins to kill her and her fiancé. Then we are transported back to the present, where The Bride visits Bill’s brother and retired assassin bud, who blasts her with a rock salt charge from his rifle and buries her alive. After managing to escape her early grave, The Bride takes care of another assassin before continuing her pursuit of Bill. Her inquiries lead her to Mexico, where she eventually finds Bill and is shocked to see her now four year old daughter alive and well in his care. After having a peaceful dinner with Bill and her daughter as a sort of a quiet before the storm, The Bride is then shot with a dart containing truth serum and questioned by Bill. After explaining her reasons for leaving his murderous organization, the Bride has a fight with Bill which will determine both of their futures.
