We all know that awkward moment when we go to our school reunions and after meeting the people we’ve studied with we realize that very little has changed in our own life. So does 28 year old Megan. She goes to her 10 year high school reunion and it seems like her eyes have finally opened: she continues to live with her high school boyfriend Anthony and still works as a sign flipper at her father’s accounting company. It’s been 10 years since she graduated from that high school, but nothing really changed in her life. Nothing extraordinary happened. Suddenly her boyfriend proposes and instead of feeling happy and embracing something new she panics. She panics badly and crosses paths with a teenage prostitute. 16 year old Annika convinces Megan to buy alcohol for herself and for her new friends. Eventually Megan hangs out with them for the rest of the night. She lies to her fiancé about going on a retreat or a business seminar, and instead of that goes to Annika’s house where she meets Annika’s attractive single dad.
